I am so grateful for Dr Malhotra’s kindness and compassion, which is sadly not something I have often experienced in my mental healthcare. I really felt heard and respected. I am also impressed by her insight into my very complex, decades long mental illness. In just two long sessions she was able to offer me a new perspective on my condition and to make sense of many things. She provided me with comprehensive diagnostic assessment that will be so helpful going forward. I also now feel better equipped to make decisions about my future treatment. Thanks also to Sanjay at Oxford Brain and Mind for dealing so efficiently and sensitively with the administrative side of things.

Excellent practice – highly recommended. Sanjay was extremely accommodating in helping me secure an appointment last minute. Super responsive communication and easy to reach. Dr Saik made me feel very at ease and was incredibly helpful with my treatment, I will definitely be arranging a follow up. Overall, very grateful for the support and care I received here.

Absolutely fantastic experience! I recently had an ADHD assessment at this clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff were friendly, professional, and really took the time to understand my concerns. The assessment itself was thorough but felt relaxed – the clinician made sure I understood each step and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed, and they genuinely listened to everything I had to say, which was such a relief. By the end, I felt like I finally had some clarity and a clear plan for what to do next. The whole process was smooth, and booking was a breeze too. If you’re considering an ADHD assessment or any kind of support, I highly recommend this clinic. They really know their stuff and made what could have been a stressful experience into a very positive one.

Adult ADHD Assessments

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects the ability to focus, pay attention, and control impulses. While ADHD is commonly diagnosed in childhood, many individuals may not receive a formal diagnosis until adulthood. At Oxford Brain and Mind, we offer comprehensive assessments to diagnose adult ADHD, which includes a thorough evaluation of symptoms, behaviors, and cognitive functioning.

Our assessments are tailored to each individual and may involve a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and cognitive tests. Our team also takes into account any other underlying conditions that may be contributing to symptoms, such as anxiety or depression. We strive to provide our patients with a clear understanding of their diagnosis and offer personalized treatment plans to help manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Why choose Oxford Brain and Mind?

At Oxford Brain and Mind, we understand that seeking an assessment for adult autism or adult ADHD can be a daunting process. We have a team of experts with vast experience of assessing and managing ADHD. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the assessment process.

The ADHD assessment is always led by a consultant psychiatrist who will be involved in your care throughout your journey with us. In the process the consultant psychiatrist understands you and your needs very well and will guide you throughout.

Unlike many other places, where your assessment may be done by a professional who is not able to prescribe you the medication for your condition or the management of your medication might be overseen by someone who has not understood you and your needs fully, we are committed to continuity of care with the same professional. Furthermore, we also offer a range of evidence-based treatments to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
