We are pleased to share that Dr Tina Malhotra, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, and Dr Sanjay Kumar, Associate Professor of Cognitive Psychology at Oxford Brookes University, will be jointly presenting a workshop on repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) at the upcoming British Indian Psychiatric Association (BIPA) Annual Conference 2025 in Birmingham.
Their workshop, titled “rTMS in Psychiatric Practice,” forms part of BIPA’s focus on innovative approaches in mental health. Taking place on Saturday 5th July, the session will introduce rTMS as a cutting-edge, non-invasive neuromodulation therapy for depression and other psychiatric conditions.
This collaborative effort between clinical psychiatry and neuroscience research highlights OxBAM’s continued commitment to advancing evidence-based treatments and bridging the gap between research and patient care.
We are proud to contribute to this influential gathering of international mental health professionals and look forward to ongoing dialogue and partnerships across the field.
